AC power capacitors are primarily used in the input stage of a system or machine to reduce ripple, improve regulation and to help fulfil CE low voltage regulations. These capacitors are available for single or even three-phase operation to help control and improve input power quality. For single-phase requirements AMS supplies components rated from 40 to 2500VAC, while for three-phase applications the rating can be as high as 2000kVA.
