Dummy loads are used primarily to test high frequency systems (typically 60Hz to 800MHz), such as induction heating furnaces or broadcast transmitters, for functionality testing and calibration. Using forced air, water or heat exchanger types, AMS Technologies can supply a broad range of loads from 5 to 1500kW with a termination impedance of 50 ohms nominal. These are rugged, precision devices that offer very stable RF performance across a wide high frequency band.
