Often a short lead time is crucial for winning a CWDM or DWDM project. In contrast lead times for fixed wavelength optical DWDM laser components increase. A perfect match to cope with this dilemma is to use DWDM tunability.

The TRX Tuning Box now offers this feature even if the transmission and switching equipment does not support tunability. A standard tunable DWDM XFP is used to set the needed channel and can directly be deployed in the XFP port of the equipment to be installed. The TRX Tuning Box is connected to the standard USB ports of a laptop or PC. The graphical user interface is very easy to use. No previous knowledge is required.
