CTC ProBox – The Universal Transceiver Assistant
Many system vendors of router and switch hardware prohibit the use of cost effective pluggables like GBIC, SFP, XFP oder SFP+ und force the deployment of expensive proprietary OEM transceivers. The CTC ProBox allows for a do-it-yourself configuration of compatible standard transceiver for almost any system vendor hardware. Thus transceiver resources can be used in the best way and network planning can be accomplished with premium standard hardware. The CTC ProBox is connected by a standard USB port of a laptop or PC to the internet. The intuitive user interface is created for the use in stock/logistics as well as service calls at the customer site.
