Gas Laser Systems
Helium Cadmium Laser Systems
- Single Mode (TEM00) from 2mW to 50mW
- Multimode (TEMmultimode) from 5mW to 100mW
DescriptionThe Helium-Cadmium (HeCd) laser is one of a class of gas lasers using helium in conjunction with a metal which vaporizes at a relatively low temperature.
Due to their three primary emission spectral lines (322, 354, and 442 nanometers) in the ultraviolet and blue-violet regions Helium Cadmium Laser Systems are finding an increasing number of applications in confocal microscopy.
The average lifetimes of our HeCd lasers are the best in the business. All of our lasers average 4,500 hours or more and some models average over 6,000 hours.
