Splicing Equipment

The splicing of optical fibers is commonly used in telecom applications for standard communications fibers with an outer diameter not exceeding 125µm. Industrial fibers, for example for sensor applications or for high-power lasers, have diameters typically ranging from 125µm up to 1.7mm and not only circular but also non-standard cross-sections designed to provide specific light guide effects. Our portfolio of splicing equipment fulfils all these different market needs.
