This is an automated solution designed to streamline today’s fiber optic patchcord production. The fully-automated robotic system injects adhesive into simplex ceramic or metal ferrules prior to fiber insertion. The whole process sequence is designed to avoid cross-contamination of adhesives in critical areas. Constant injection volume is assured by maintaining stable temperature both at the dispense syringe and on the ferrule holder. The holding plates are designed for ferrule-only or for one-piece connectors with batch sizes of 30 to 100 pc.
