Spectrometers incorporating thick transmission phase gratings provide high diffraction efficiency and large angular dispersion capability. Along with the ultra-sensitive detector arrays utilised, high-speed parallel processing and continuous spectrum measurements can be performed. These devices can use either a fiber optic input or a slit optics arrangement, as based on customer preferences. The control electronics can output a processed digital signal to provide the exact signal required, although the raw data is also readily available to the user.
