Description

HELIOS-IR is a broadband pump-probe femtosecond Mid-IR Transient Absorption Spectrometer. This system extends the capability of our venerable HELIOS spectrometer to detection of Mid-IR wavelengths. HELIOS-IR utilizes the latest generation HgCdTe (MCT) detector arrays with proprietary digitization technology to deliver an economical and robust turnkey system capable of probing transient signals in the 2-10 micron region.
HELIOS-IR is designed to work with standard femtosecond infrared sources (such as TOPAS) and can be configured to detect transient signals up to 8ns with a resolution approximately 1.4 times the IR pulse temporal width.
