Description

The HXP-HA hexapods are parallel kinematic motion devices that provides six degrees of freedom: X, Y, Z, pitch, roll and yaw. Hexapods are effective solutions for complex motion applications that demand high load capacity and accuracy in up to six independent axes.

To further ensure positioning performance, the High Accuracy (HA) HXP50HA-MECA and HXP100-MECA are available with guaranteed accuracy values. This enables the use of a Newport Hexapod in positioning applications, where position accuracy is required.

With two programmable pivot points, Newport’s proprietary RightPath™ trajectory control and a new patent pending calibration process, the HXP-HA hexapods provide detailed and guaranteed accuracy specifications on all linear axes.

In comparison to stacked stages, HXP Hexapods offer an easy, elegant solution to complex, multi-axis motion in a compact construction. Its dedicated firmware simplifies the programming of complex motion through the use of two coordinate systems and automatically computes coordinate transformations for straightforward programming of motion.

The HXP-Joystick enables remote control of a Newport HXP hexapod in all 6 degrees of freedom. Joystick setup is very simple, just like any Windows device, and lets you make fine adjustments of the hexapod in no time. Buttons are quite intuitive for motion and adjusting speed.
