Recognised for their high performance, CCD, CMOS, and line scan cameras utilising USB2.0 digital bus technology, are optimised not only for machine-vision but can also be used for a wide variety of other applications such as digital microscopy and medical imaging, etc., where quality, ease of use and cost-effectiveness are crucial. They comprise both board-mounted and enclosed models, as well as a powerful camera engine to support multiple b/w and colour cameras of up to 5MP resolution. The external trigger-in and strobe-out facilitate interfacing with external devices. Dependent upon the resolution, frame rates up to 20fps and even as high as 300fps can be achieved. In addition, a user-friendly Windows-based application software and a SDK are provided for custom software development. A USB command set protocol is also available for non-Windows applications.
