The first short focal lenses for IR imaging detection optimised for Ulis Micro80PTM Gen2
AMS Technologies introduces the first series of short focal lenses dedicated to IR imaging and IR detection. The lenses have been specifically designed for ULIS Micro80PTM and Micro80PTM Gen2 thermal sensor arrays. They offer the shortest focal length available for IR applications (1,5 to 2,2 mm) while enabling a wide horizontal field of view (73o-120o).

Integrating high quality chalcogenide glass, the molded lenses are compatible with wavelengths ranging from 8µm to 14µm and offer a passive athermalisation for -40oC to +85oC. They have been co-developed with LightPath Technologies, leading manufacturer of InfraRed and aspherical optics.
