Laser Diodes for Quantum Optics and Spectroscopy


AMS Technologies provide high power laser diodes up to 150mW with wavelength range from 650nm to 1120nm in different packaging options. These laser diodes are already key ingredients for numerous applications such as Quantum Optics and Spectroscopy. A single frequency laser radiation, precisely balanced in narrow linewidth and tunability will excite, detect or manipulate atoms such as Rubidium or Caesium.  A variety of AR coated diodes are available for external cavity setups, which can cover wide wavelength ranges matching even the most sophisticated requirements.

Solid State Chillers

 
Solid State Chillers are small, stand alone, re-circulating and quiet. The temperature control system has full PID control for both heating and cooling achieves thermal control from -5 to 45 °C to ± 0.05 °C, even near ambient. Nominal cooling capacity varies from 160W to 400w. Oasis Three is an extremely energy efficient 300W chiller. Oasis Three responds instantaneously to changes in load. Its smooth-flow centrifugal pump keeps operation vibration free. These units are popular for labs, diode or semiconductor lasers, low-light CCD cameras, medical equipment, scanning electron microscopes and many other applications.

Aspheric Lenses & Collimators

 
Aspheric lenses are known for their optimal performance but are often considered expensive. By using the most consistent and economical methods of precision moulding, aspheres are now widely available in many variations and large volumes. They can be used in free space applications or assemblies such as Large Beam Fusion™ Collimators.  These collimators utilize a fiber fusion technology which enables them to be used at very high power. Standard configurations are available for 1550nm, 1310nm, and 1064nm with beam diameters from 0.9mm to 12.0mm. Custom designs for other beam diameters or wavelengths (from 400 to 2000nm) can also be made to your specific requirements.

Laser Diode Drivers


Laser diode driver  PLD12.5K-CH is a 12.5Amp driver in a small chassis mount package. Modular packaging makes it easy to integrate into your system. The unit includes user adjustments and status indicators. On board trimpots set current limit and current set-point. Alternately, you can use the modulation / remote input for laser driver current set point. Switches select Constant Current or Constant Power mode and photodiode range. The unit occupies a small package size with dual supply operation 5V to +30V DC & excellent current stability.  This product is ideal for applications where current stability is critical and space is tight.
