Ti:Sapphire Regenerative Amplifiers „Spitfire ACE” now with improved specifications
The Spitfire® Ace™ is Spectra-Physics’ flagship amplifier system. It is the most technically advanced Ti:Sapphire regenerative amplifier commercially available. Equipped with proprietary XP cavity design, the Spitfire Ace provides guaranteed long term performance, low noise and reliable day-to-day operation resulting in consistent OPA performance and nonlinear wavelength conversion for use in the most demanding ultrafast applications.

The Spitfire Ace amplifier builds upon Spectra-Physics’ highly successful Spitfire platform. Every component has been carefully evaluated and selected to maximize stability. The system produces an industry leading average power of more than 6 W at 1 kHz and 10 kHz, and 7 W at 5 kHz with excellent beam quality.

The Spitfire Ace PA (Power Amplifier) builds upon this highly successful platform by offering even higher energy and output power. It produces more than twice the average power of the regen-only Spitfire Ace: at 1 and 10 kHz, it offers >12 W; at 5 kHz, >14 W is achieved. Thanks to the patented XP cavity, the beam quality is excellent providing M2 <1.45 even at the highest energy configuration.

Transient absorption spectrometer for femtosecond pump-probe spectroscopy
Newport’s Transient Absorption Spectrometer (TAS) is a state-of-the-art instrument for femtosecond pump-probe spectroscopy. In an ultrafast pump-probe experiment using TAS, the sample of interest is excited by the pump pulse and the dynamics of the sample are monitored as a function of time at many wavelengths by a white-light supercontinuum probe routed with reflective optics to minimize chirp.

The probe light is sensed as a function of wavelength by the combination of a fiber coupled multichannel detector and imaging spectrograph, offering the optimum combination of sensitivity and dynamic range. There is substantial flexibility in the configuration of the optical layout, detection range and spectral resolution. TAS is designed for repetition rates ranging from 1-5 kHz and comes with straightforward LabVIEW®-based software.

Ultrafast Fiber Laser "HighQ-2 "
HighQ-2™ is an ultra-compact, air cooled, turn-key, fixed wavelength femtosecond laser. It features high peak power and ideal, highly focusable Gaussian spatial beam profile, making it the perfect laser source for fixed wavelength multiphoton imaging in vivo, micro and nano-structuring, micro and nano-surgery and micro-dissection applications.

Designed as a reliable OEM laser for 24/7 operation, the HighQ-2 laser combines true turn-key operation and fast cold start turn-on, ensuring quick installation and easy operation.

HighQ-2 is equipped with long life diodes, a sealed optical cavity design and is manufactured in a controlled, cleanroom environment. The result is a highly dependable laser with long lifetime, high uptime and low cost of ownership.

Cost effective UV laser "Talon"
Talon™ is a new family of UV and green diode-pumped solid state (DPSS) Q-switched lasers that deliver an unprecedented combination of performance, reliability and cost.

Based on Spectra-Physics' “It's in the Box™” design, with the laser and controller combined in a single, compact package, Talon 355-12 uses field-proven technology to output >12 W of UV with a wide-repetition-rate range of 0 to 500 kHz, high pulse-to-pulse stability and excellent TEM00 mode quality for tens of thousands of operating hours.

Compressor based recirculating chillers
We offer compressor based recirculating chillers with 300 W to 95 kW of cooling capacity. They achieve temperature stabilities of +/-0.1°C and are designed to guarantee trouble-free operation of laser equipment.

A wide range of options is available including pumps, fluid compatibility, controllers with safety and monitoring features, rack mount, stand alone and mini enclosures, quiet operation including active noise control, low vibration, start-up heating and many more. We also offer customized chillers to meet specific requirements.
