Eric Protiva
Eric Protiva founded AMS Technologies in 1982 and is one of the Managing Partners at Egora Holding (Munich, Germany). Eric is currently also on the Board at ADVA Optical Networking (Munich, Germany) and at Elforlight (Daventry, UK).
Brian Protiva
Brian Protiva co-founded ADVA Optical Networking in 1994. As the CEO, he is responsible for overall strategy, human resources, quality management, sales and marketing. Brian was managing director at AMS Technologies (now the EGORA Group), which he joined in 1987 and where he focused on co-managing its subsidiaries.
Juergen Hansjosten
Juergen Hansjosten (Chairman of the Supervisory Board) is currently CEO of Infrafibre Germany and has held previous positions at euromicron Networks GmbH (2013 until 2018), Teragate (2009 until 2011), ADVA Optical Networking (2000 until 2009) and prior to that as Director of Siemens' ICN Business Unit (Information and Communication Networks).
Benno Oderkerk
Benno Oderkerk, a highly regarded photonics expert, co-founded the Dutch spectroscopy company Avantes in 1994 and led it as CEO until 2020. In 2017, Benno has been appointed President of the European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC), and he is currently serving on a number of Boards in the Photonics Industry, from Dutch and European photonics associations to a photonics assembly startup.
Judith de Forrest †
It is our sad duty to inform you, that on December 8th 2013 Judith de Forrest, our former CEO and Chairman of the Supervisory Board has passed away.
Our thoughts are with her husband and her family. We are all very grateful for the inspiration Judith has instilled in us as a mentor and friend.
Judith de Forrest was AMS Technologies' CEO until April 2010. Prior to joining AMS Technologies in 1998, Judith worked at Nortel Optoelectronics Germany in Sales Management positions.
